[PIO] Announcement of the Pedagogical Institute for the 5th International Conference "Literacy and Contemporary Society: Creativity, Equality, Social

The Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, informs that registration for the 5th International Conference "Literacy and Modern Society", on the theme: Creativity, Equality, Social Actionorganized in collaboration with the University of Cyprus on 4-6 December 2023, at the "Filoxenia" Conference Centre.

Following the interest that has been expressed, the following is clarified:

  1. Teachers of public and private schools, of all school levels, for participation at breakfast time can submit a registration form through their school account, at online registration interface of the Pedagogical Institute on the basis of the circular ypp16341 (dated 16/11/2023) posted on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science.
  2. In order to facilitate school units and to give the opportunity to a large number of teachers to participate,three (3) teachers from each school may participate (one for each day of the Conference on 4 or 5 or 6 December 2023). The school may send the same teacher more than one day.
  3. Teachers interested in attending keynote speeches, symposia or presentations in the afternoon can follow the open registration process via the link here, on the announcement basis (date: 2023-2023). 9/11/2023) posted on the website of the Ministry of National Economy.
  4. Interested parties wishing to attend any part of the Conference can proceed to register for the Conference here.
  5. Participation in the Conference is free of charge and certificates of participation will be issued to all participants attending any of the Conference sessions. Attached are the Programme and the Conference Abstracts. More information is available on the Conference website.
