A meeting was held today at the Presidential Palace, under the supervision of the Office of the Commissioner for Citizens' Affairs, Mr. Panagiotis Palate, an extended consultation on the two bills prepared by the Office, entitled "The Citizens' Initiative Law of 2024" and the "Public Consultation Law of 2024".
The presentation of the bills was made by the Advisor of the Office Mr. George Isaias and the consultation was attended by representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), organized associations and government departments, who submitted comments and observations.
To participate in the consultation with your comments, you need to register and log in to the e-consultation platform. Once logged in, navigate to the consultation you are interested in. You can leave a general comment on the consultation by scrolling to the bottom of the main consultation page or leave specific comments on any article you wish. The deadline for all stakeholders to submit online comments on the e-consultation platform is 16 June 2024.
