Regarding today's protest of the Parekklisia Primary School Parents' Association regarding the building infrastructure, it is clarified that the Technical Services of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MESY) have already prepared drafts concerning the pedagogical redesign of the premises, based on the existing standards of the building program, including demolitions and new extensions. Once the design process is completed, the project will be included in the budget with a view to its implementation.
As can be seen, the process has already been initiated, the Parents' Association of the school had been informed, in writing, about the above and therefore today's protest is considered unnecessary, excessive and inappropriate.
It is the request of the Ministry of Education and Science that the various agencies contact the relevant departments for information so as to avoid unnecessary suffering of the children.
