The Counselling and Vocational Education Service of the Directorate of Secondary General Education of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and the Pancyprian Confederation of Federations of Associations of Parents of Public Secondary Schools co-organize the action This action has become an annual institution and is under the auspices of the National Lifelong Guidance Agency, whose coordination has been entrusted to the YSEA.
The YSEA, as the competent Service, is committed to providing the youth of our country with high quality services, through the Teachers of Counselling and Vocational Education, as well as through the organization of remarkable actions aimed at providing young people with valid information for making informed decisions concerning their professional future.
This year's major event expects objective information for our young people and the wider public about the professions in the Cypriot workplace from reputable professional and scientific associations. In addition, during the event, presentations will be held by the professional associations with information on the skills required by employers for each profession and the employment prospects in the labour market in Cyprus and abroad. The event will empower young people in the process of choosing a profession and contribute to the early planning of their career through the perspective of shaping the professional of the future, based on the needs of the labour market, with guaranteed professional rights and broadened professional horizons.
