A press conference was held today at the Ministry of Defence, during which the operation of the digital service for issuing Certificates of Military Status was presented.
The development and operation of this digital service is a significant upgrade of the services provided by the Ministry of Defence and is part of the wider effort for the digital transformation of the public administration, which aims to provide better services that will facilitate the life of the citizen.
The digital service of the Ministry of Defence enables all Cypriot citizens to receive through the gov.cy website certificates, military status certificates or exit permits, wherever they are, in Cyprus or abroad, as long as they are identified users on the gov.cy, without requiring physical presence at the local Recruitment Offices.
