The Managing Authority of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Payment Scheme (CAP) 2023 - 2027 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, in cooperation with the Cyprus Rural Payments Agency and the Department of Agriculture, announce the announcement of the Intervention of the National Support Programme for the Vineyard Sector (NSP) 1.
There are two (2) eligible actions for the OPSA 1 intervention:
- OPSA 1a - "Installation of Linear Support System for the Improvement of Management Techniques in Wine Growing Vineyards".
- OPSA Action 1b - "Restructuring and conversion of vineyards for wine production".
Vine growers are entitled to join the Intervention, provided that they are holders of vineyards registered in their name in the Vineyard Register prior to the submission of the application for participation in the Intervention. In addition, under OPSA Action 1b, the beneficiary may be any natural or legal person to whom the owner of an existing vineyard to be grubbed up is granted the right to replant on a green plot of land (relocation).

Application for participation shall be completed and submitted only online through the Governmental Internet Security Portal "gov.cy" on the website: www.gov.cy.
The application period starts on 11 December 2023 and ends on 22 December 2023.
Interested parties can obtain the Application Manual from the website of the Department of Agriculture www.moa.gov.cy/da and the CFCA www.capo.gov.cy.
