In view of the completion of the Z Pumping Station Z at Zakaki, the Mayor of Limassol and Chairman of the Limassol - Amathus Sewerage Board (LSA) Mr. Yannis Tsoulofta, members of the Board of Directors and staff members visited on Monday, 8 April 2024, at 9:30 a.m. the Pumping Station Z (near the roundabout to Lady's Mile).
The Project, worth approximately six million euros, is an important infrastructure project for SALA and will serve the Parish of Zakaki, the large commercial developments of My Mall, the "City of Dreams Mediterranean" Casino of the New Port of Limassol, as well as other large residential developments in the area, by transferring wastewater to the Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant and Recycled Water Production Plant in Kato Polemidia.
In April, the connection of the sub-stations of the Zacakiou area and other neighbouring areas, which will be served by the pumping station, will begin.
