During the months of March, July, August and September 2022, the Labour Inspection Department of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance is conducting a special targeted campaign of inspections of construction sites.
The construction sector is a high-risk sector, with a high Accident Frequency Index and the highest Accident Severity Index. In recent years there has been an increase in activity in this sector, which, despite a decrease in the Accident Frequency Index, has the highest Accident Severity Index compared to other sectors of economic activity.
The campaign was designed taking into account the infringements identified during inspections of construction sites, as well as the causes of accidents, occupational diseases and dangerous incidents that have occurred in recent years during the execution of work on construction sites.

Detailed information material on this campaign as well as leaflets on the main provisions of the legislation in the construction sector are available on the website of the Labour Inspectorate.
