Regarding the article in the newspaper "Politis" entitled "€663.000 illegally distributed to five parties" and in particular regarding the sponsorships distributed by the Parliament to the parliamentary parties in 2021, the already expressed position is reiterated that "the House of Representatives as a constitutional authority cannot be involved in any civil disputes with any entity, and such a development and registration of a lawsuit with similar subject matter would constitute an illegitimate approach and obviously a constitutional aberration".
As for the reference in the same article that "the error in the allocation of the government grant was made by the Accountant General of the House of Assembly, therefore the House has an obligation to collect this money and then , to pay it to the other parties that received a lower state grant than they were entitled to for the year 2021", the position is again noted that the House at the material time applied the provisions of the Political Parties Act, as well as the provisions of the 2021 Budget Act.
