The Health Insurance Agency wishes to inform the public about the new upgrade of the GHS Information System (IS), through which beneficiaries can monitor the status of their pre-approval claims.
Specifically, through the Beneficiary Portal, which is accessible through the GHS website, the "Pre-Approvals" sub-section displays all of the beneficiary's pre-approvals. These pre-approvals are shown with an indication of their status as follows:
- Submitted: Pending review of the claim.
- Available: Approved and can be used by a competent health professional on a case-by-case basis.
- Rejected: Rejected and cannot be used. Note that pre-approvals that are rejected are only shown for a period of one month from the date of rejection.
