The General Staff of the National Guard announces that on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 08:30, a demonstration of operational capabilities will take place in the Zygios area, which will be open to the public.
The demonstration is part of the activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the National Guard and will include, among many other things, parachute drops, helicopter crossings, special operations actions, tactical movements of sections on main weapon systems, as well as combat support actions. Throughout the activity there will be photographic and video coverage, and the public will be allowed to take photographs.
On the coastal road, and near the Zygios marina, National Guard personnel will facilitate access to the demonstration area.
The public is kindly requested to arrive by 08:00, in order to facilitate their arrival at the demonstration area.
