[PIO] Announcement of the General Accounting Office of the Republic on the simplification of the regulatory framework governing the management of

The General Accounting Office of the Republic, in the context of the modernisation and simplification of the regulatory framework governing accounting and the management of public resources, has proceeded to update the Circulars issued so far.

The new Circulars are posted on the website of the General Accounting Office of the Republic under the section Legislation - Circulars - Circulars in force from 1/1/2024. The

Their numbering starts from Circular no.1 and are sorted as follows:

[A](a) Expenditures and Payments

(b) Revenues and Receipts

(c) GIS Accounting System - FIMAS

(d) Payroll of Government Employees

(e) Payroll of Hourly Government Employees

(f) Pensions

(g) New Pension Scheme

(h) Loans and Guarantees

(i) Financial Information

(j) Forms and Registers

(k) Miscellaneous

The new Circulars shall enter into force on 1/1/2024, while the previous Circulars (and letters) are repealed.

Note that the Circulars issued by the Competent Authority for Public Procurement (CPA) as well as the Circulars issued by the Central Committee for Changes and Requirements (CCRC) remain in force with their own numbering.
