Many of our fellow citizens visit our forests these days for mushroom picking, photography, hiking and especially for various activities in the snow.

- Do not use tools such as rakes (combs).

- Do not log, uproot, cut or prune trees, or in any other way cause damage to natural vegetation without the necessary permission from the Forestry Department.

- With regard to activities in snowy areas: driving off the roads is prohibited.

- With regard to activities in snowy areas: driving off the roads is prohibited. The driving of motor vehicles in streams, mountain tops and elsewhere causes serious soil disturbance, destruction of vegetation, disturbance of fauna and generally a negative effect on the ecosystem.

Based on the Forestry Law, all of the above actions constitute criminal offences and in case of conviction of the person who carries out these actions, this person is subject to a prison sentence not exceeding one (1) year or a fine not exceeding five thousand euros (€5.000,00) or both (2) of these penalties.
