The Ethics and Sports Protection Committee, after its last meeting, announces the following:
1.Conclusion on complaints of Stavros Papastavrou
The Investigating Officer Mr. Haris Savvidis delivered the Conclusion of his investigation, which consists of 96 typed pages and 59 Annexes.
The Commission will study it, evaluate it and subsequently issue an announcement.
2. ENP-ERMIS
The Commission has studied the information sent to it by UEFA concerning the match in question and has concluded that the file in question contains complete information which would render any further investigation by the Commission pointless.
For this reason, the Commission has decided, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, to send the file to the Prosecutor General of the Republic for his own action if he finds that criminal offences may have been committed. At the same time, however, it is noted that some of the information contained in the file may not constitute admissible evidence before the Court, but it is expected that the matter will be dealt with accordingly by the investigating authorities.
