The Ethics and Sports Protection Committee announces that on 11 October 2023 it received an Investigating Officer's report regarding a possible violation of Law 180(I)/2017 in relation to the Cyprus Shooting Federation. The finding was considered on 19 October 2023 and was adopted in its entirety by the Committee.
At first sight it appears that there are criminal offences provided for in Law 180(I)/2017. It further appears that there are also offences under common criminal law.
The finding will be handed over to the Honourable Attorney General of the Republic for further action on the basis of his Constitutional powers.
