[PIO] Announcement of the Department of Public Works: the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway is opened to traffic earlier following the completion of asphalt

The Nicosia Perimeter Motorway Project Engineering Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that at 04.30 on Sunday morning, 28/07/2024, the section of the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway towards Nicosia was opened to traffic after the completion of the asphalt works. This took place after concerted efforts by the Public Works Department, the contractor and the Police, and nine hours earlier than originally planned.
