[PIO] Announcement of the Department of Public Works for works in the Prefectures of Nicosia and Larnaca

1. Construction of AHK intersections on Nissou

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Saturday 6/4/2024, from 07:00 in the morning until 17:00 in the afternoon, on Limassol Avenue on Nissou, works will be carried out in the roadway for the construction of AHK intersections.

During the execution of the works there will be appropriate temporary markings, which drivers are advised to follow.

2. Removal works in Larnaca district

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Thursday 4/4/2024, between the hours of 06:00-10:00, on Piale Pasha Avenue in Larnaca, removal works from an apartment building will be carried out by a private company.

During the execution of the works, part of the pavement and the car parking bay will be closed at a point 500 meters from the roundabout in the direction of the city center. Traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane using STOP & GO signs.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
