The Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that as of 25/03/2024 the replacement of obsolete signalling equipment by a private company has started in 47 light-controlled intersections and 31 pedestrian crossings of Pelican type in the wider Limassol and Paphos area, with a new type of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) LED lamps, a Pedestrian Countdown system and a touch-type pedestrian demand system.
