[PIO] Announcement of the Department of Prisons on the death of a convict from pathological causes

The Prisons Department announces that today a 66-year-old Cypriot convict, with serious chronic medical problems, presented a deterioration of his health and was transferred by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital where, despite the efforts of doctors, he passed away.

The Prisons Department expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
