The Department of Town Planning and Housing of the Ministry of Interior announces that on Friday, 4/2/2022, a contract for the project "General Maintenance of Nicosia Government Settlements 2021-2023" was signed between the Department and P. DEMOU AND C. PAREKLISITIS LTD, at the Central Offices of the Department of Urban Planning and Zoning.
The Project includes General Maintenance works of approximately seven thousand (7,000) housing units in twenty-two (22) refugee settlements of Nicosia. The works to be carried out are related to the protection of the Safety and Health of the refugees residing in them, and include roof insulation, electrical and plumbing repairs/installations, repair of cracks and disintegrated concrete and other works.
The contract amount is €1,952,322.00 plus VAT and the duration of the contract is 24 months. Contracts of a similar nature are being executed in all Provinces throughout Cyprus.
