The Department of Electromechanical Services informs the consumer that it has detected on the market the product listed below, which does not bear the CЄ marking in accordance with Annex II of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008. In addition, it is not accompanied by the required EE declaration of conformity and the required technical documentation. Therefore, the importer has voluntarily withdrawn it from the market.

Licensed electricians in possession of the above product are advised not to use/install it and to return it immediately to the seller, i.e. the shop from which they purchased it.
It is noted that the product should be returned to the importer, who is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of the recall.
In addition, according to the Law on Certain Aspects Concerning Contracts for the Sale of Goods of 2021, in case of purchase of a non-compliant product, the consumer is initially entitled to a free repair or replacement of the product. It is also noted that the obligation to repair or replace the goods includes the removal of the non-conforming goods and the installation of the substitute or repaired goods or bearing the costs of such removal and installation.
If the repair or replacement is not possible, then the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract (i.e. to terminate it and claim a refund of the money paid).
It is recalled that the above rights apply for a period of two years from the initial delivery of the product to the consumer and that the final seller is always exclusively liable to the consumer.
In the event that the seller refuses to comply with the above rights of the consumer, the consumer is invited to submit his/her complaint in writing via the website of the Consumer Protection Service.
