The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Ministry of Culture organizes in collaboration with Rialto Theatre the 3rd Cyprus Choreography Showcase 2024. The performances of the works of the Cyprus Choreography Showcase 2024 will take place between the 22nd and 24th of March 2024 at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol.
The Cyprus Choreography Showcase is an institution that aims to present selected choreographic works that are choreographed and presented in Cyprus within a period of two years. In particular, SXK aims to provide opportunities for choreographers who create in Cyprus to present their works, in an organised context, to artistic directors and organisers of contemporary dance festivals abroad who are invited specifically for this purpose. At the same time, through the organization of SXK, the opportunity is offered to re-present the most remarkable choreographic works and to present them to the local audience.
The Choreography Selection Committee, after studying the applications submitted, has selected the following works for participation in the 3rd Cyprus Choreography Showcase 2024 (in alphabetical order of the choreographers):

The Committee consisted of George Savvinidis (journalist), Mariza Partzili (visual artist, set designer), Natasha Georgiou (choreographer/choreographer), Dara Milovanovic (assistant professor at the University of Nicosia, Department of Music and Dance) and Froso Hadjigeorgiou (choreographer).
