The Consumer Protection Service informs that in recent days it has received complaints from consumers about the website www.ioannouhomecy.com and pages with the same name on social media. More specifically, consumers complain that they placed orders for products, paid the relevant price but never received the products. Furthermore, all their efforts to contact the online business were unsuccessful.
In view of the above, the Consumer Protection Service calls on consumers to be particularly careful and to avoid transactions with this website or pages with the same name on social media.
On this occasion, the Service reminds consumers that according to the law, a business that trades on the Internet must provide them with easy, immediate and continuous access to information about its products and services. [/LIST]
Finally, the Service advises consumers that under no circumstances should they make purchases from traders whose only information they provide is a mobile phone number or an e-mail address.
More information/advice is available on the website of the Consumer Protection Agency (www.consumer.gov.cy).
