The Civil Registry and Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior announces the launch of a public consultation for the formulation of the Action Plan for the Integration and Social Inclusion of Migrants 2024 - 2026. In the framework of the public consultation, a total of three events are planned. The first event will take place on March 29, 2024 at the Journalist's House, 12 RIK Avenue in Aglantzia. The second event will take place on 3 April 2024 at the Multipurpose Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Centre of the Municipality of Larnaca, 62 Faneromeni Avenue, Larnaca. The third event will take place on 12 April 2024 at the Municipal Cultural Centre "Panos Solomonides", at 8 Panos Solomonides Street, Limassol. All events are expected to start at 09:00 and will last until approximately 17:00. Registration starts at 08:30.
The event at the Public House will be addressed by the Minister of Interior Mr. Constantinos Ioannou, while the events in Larnaca and Limassol will be addressed by the Director General of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Elikkos A. Ilias and the Director of the Civil Registry and Migration Department Ms. Maria Adamidou. Immediately after the greetings, a presentation of the Action Plan will be made by an Officer of the Civil Registry and Migration Department. Afterwards, there will be a discussion in thematic groups on the actions contained in the Action Plan with the help of a facilitator.
Through a fruitful and democratic dialogue, participants will have the opportunity to shape the actions of the Action Plan in the context of participatory democracy and active citizenship.
