A. Announcement of results
The Examinations Service of the Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (YPAN) informs the public that the results of those admitted to the Higher Education of Greece have been announced on the website of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece (https:/results.it.minedu.gov.gr).
Interested parties can connect to the Website of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports (MTEF) of Greece and via the original Website of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Cyprus (http://www.moec.gov.cy).
Successful candidates must print and keep their results.
B. Enrollment in Higher Education in Greece for the academic year 2023-2024
According to an announcement of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece dated September 7, 2023 (2023_EYCYCLE_REGISTRATION_REGISTRATION_OF_ALLOYPERSONS_with_anakοιν_-_ADA.pdf (minedu.gov.gr), the enrolment of successful candidates in the Departments and Schools of Higher Education of Greece concerning the special category of high school graduates or equivalent schools of EU Member States will be a from Tuesday 12 September until Monday 25 September 2023.
Successful candidates are required to submit for verification to the Secretariats of the Schools and Departments of Successful Schools and Departments, in person or by another authorised person, an application accompanied by their supporting documents in order to have their registration approved and completed. Alternatively, they may send their application form and supporting documents to the secretariat of the successful department by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.
Please note that:
a) The online registration procedure does not apply to these candidates.
b) especially the admitted male Cypriots who are going to fulfill their military service, may register in the following academic year, immediately after obtaining their school-leaving certificate from the military ranks, within the deadline for the registration of newly admitted students with the relevant special category of that year. If the year of dismissal is after the specified deadline, they shall be allowed to register until 15 November of the same year.
As a result of the above:
a) Male candidates who have secured a place in the AUEI of Greece in 2022 will begin their studies in the academic year 2023-2024, after ensuring their timely registration. Note that male candidates must have fulfilled their military obligations.
Male candidates who have secured a place at the AUEI of Greece in 2023 and are serving in the National Guard do not need to take any action. Their place will be automatically reserved for them to attend their successful School/Department as soon as they complete their military obligations. After their discharge from the ranks of the army, they are required to register at the School/Department where they have secured a place by presenting, in addition to the required documents, a relevant certificate from the Recruitment Office of their Province.
Those who will authorise their representative to register must first have their signature certified by the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus.
Interested persons should contact or visit the website of the School/Department they have secured a place or the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece for accurate information on the registration procedure.
For reasons of exceptional necessity, such as prolonged natural disaster, serious illness, military service or absence abroad, a student who has been delayed in registering within the established deadlines may be allowed to register, by reasoned decision of the Board of Directors of the University Department, following a request by the student concerned, submitted within an exclusive period of thirty (30) days from the expiry of the registration deadline, stating the reasons for the delay. A student who has not been registered in accordance with this paragraph shall lose the right to enrol for the academic year in question and for subsequent years.
C. Required supporting documents
According to an announcement of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece dated 7 September 2023 (2023_ENTRY_COLLEGE OF_ALLERGY_REGISTS_with_reconciliation_-_ADA.pdf (minedu.gov.gr)], which refers to the category of graduates of high schools or equivalent schools of EU Member States,
If, during the compulsory or other checks, it is established that corrupted photocopies have been submitted, in addition to the sanctions provided for in par. 6 of Article 22 of Law No. 1599/1986 and imposed on the person concerned, provided that such act is not more severely punished by another criminal provision, the administrative or other act for the issuance of which such photocopies were submitted shall be immediately revoked.
The documents referred to below, bearing the numbers 1 to 5, must be submitted with the endorsement provided for in Articles 3 and 4 of the Hague Convention (APOSTILLE) of 5 October 1961 by the competent authority of the Republic of Cyprus. The APOSTILLE procedure is described in detail in paragraph D.
1) Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Certificate of Secondary Education or Photocopy of Leaving Certificate certified by the competent educational authority of the candidate's country.
2023 graduates have received from their School a validated Certificate of Graduation and therefore do not need any further validation.
Those graduates of previous years (2022, 2021 etc.) who do not possess a validated Certificate of Dismissal should come and present their certificate of dismissal to the competent Directorate of Secondary General or Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth or to the relevant Provincial Office of Secondary Education (ANNEX 1) for the purpose of its validation.
In all cases, the Certificate of Graduation must be marked with the Hague Seal (Apostille).
2) Certificate of General Access/Rank.
This Certificate has been sent by the Examination Office by post to the candidate(s) within August 2023 and bears the original signature and stamp.
Male candidates who sat for the 2022 Pancyprian Entrance Examination are already in possession of the said Certificate, which bears an original signature and stamp. It was sent by the Examinations Office by post in August 2022.
The said General Admission/Qualification Certificate should be marked with the Hague Seal (Apostille).
3) A certificate from the competent educational authority (Form P3) showing that the candidate has attended the last two classes of the Lyceum or the equivalent school in Cyprus on a full-time basis, i.e. has attended the relevant courses from the beginning of the academic year and throughout its duration.
The 2023 graduates have received a validated Form P3 from their School and therefore do not need any further validation.
Those graduates of previous years (2022, 2021 etc.) who do not have a validated Form P3, should come and present the relevant form to the relevant Directorate of Secondary General or Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Education, (ANNEX 1)
or the relevant Provincial Office of Secondary Education (ANNEX 1) for the purpose of its validation.
This certificate (Form P3) must be marked with the Hague Seal (Apostille).
4) A certificate from the competent authority showing the origin of the candidate and his/her parents and indicating that at least one of the parents is not of Greek origin.
This certificate is issued by the Civil Registry and Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior. Interested parties can obtain this certificate from the Citizen Service Centres (ANNEX 2) or from the Provincial Administrations (ANNEX 3).
If the above certificate cannot be produced by the applicant because it is no longer issued by the competent authority of the country concerned, the following documents may be produced as an alternative:
a) a certificate of marital status of the candidate stating the birth data of his/her parents, or
b) birth certificates of the candidate and his/her parents, or
c) copies of the passports of the candidate and his/her parents, or
d) a combination of the documents referred to in (b) and (c) above.
The Certificate or Certificates should be marked with the Hague Seal (Apostille).
5) Male successful candidates through the Pancyprian Entrance Examination 2022 who served in the National Guard, in order to enroll in AUEI Greece, should present a certificate of dismissal from the Army.
Male candidates through the Pancyprian Entrance Examination 2022 who served in the National Guard, in order to enroll in AUEI Greece, should present a certificate of dismissal from the Army. This certificate (Certificate of Recruitment Status Type "A"),is issued by the Recruitment Offices and the Citizen Service Centres (ANNEX 2) and should bear an original signature and stamp.
This certificate must be endorsed with the Apostille of The Hague.
6) A declaration that the candidate:
I. is not a graduate of a Greek school operating in Greece,
II. does not hold a degree from a School or Department of Higher Education in Greece with the special category of foreigners-allogens,
III. holds a Certificate of General Grade of Access/Registration of the year 2023,
IV. has not obtained by correspondence a foreign Secondary Education qualification,
V. has the documents required for his/her inclusion in the special category to which he/she belongs and will present them for registration at the secretariat of the school or department of his/her admission,
VI.
It is clarified that candidates who sat the 2022 Pancyprian Access Examination already possess the said Affidavit.
7) Three small-sized photographs of the candidate(s).
8) A clear photocopy of the Civic Identity Card or Passport or other official document with a photograph certifying the identity of the candidate(s). To be validated by the Provincial Administrations or KEPs.
D. Procedure APOSTILLE
The above certificates and supporting documents required for registration purposes numbered 1 to 5 (EXCEPT 6, 7 and 8) must be endorsed as provided for in Articles 3 and 4 of the Hague Convention (APOSTILLE) of 5 October 1961 by the competent authority of the Republic of Cyprus.
Successful candidates are advised that documents from a foreign authority which are not certified for authenticity will not be accepted by the Secretariats of the Schools or Departments of Higher Education in Greece, which are responsible for checking the documents during the registration procedure of candidates who have secured a place.
The confirmation of the authenticity of the seal and signature of public documents (APOSTILLE) is carried out at the following Ministries or Citizen Service Centres (KEPO) or Citizen Centres (KEPO):

It is stressed that in order to proceed with the process of confirming the authenticity of the stamp and signature of the various documents (APOSTILLE), the interested parties must:
a) ensure that all the required documents are original and bear the original signature and stamp of the competent issuing authority;
b) secure a €5 (five) stamp for each document from the local Post Offices.
