The Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, announces the announcement of the Financial Support Scheme for Associations, Associations of Breeders/Breeding Organizations (Breeding Societies) for the creation and maintenance of genealogical registers - books of animals (goats, sheep, cows, cows, pigs, Cypriot horses and Cypriot donkeys).

The aim of the Plan is to encourage the creation and operation of Breeding Societies in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/1012. The Breeding Societies are composed of breeders of pure-bred breeding animals. Through their Breeding Programmes they have one or more of the following objectives.000. The application period for the Scheme, for the year 2023, is from 1 December 2023 to 8 December 2023.
