The Council of the Licensing Authority announces that, based on the provisions of subsection (3) of article 5 of the Law on the Regulation of Road Transport (Law 9/82), it accepts applications for the granting of a new licence for the road use of a rural taxi based in the Community of Peristerona.
The Road User Licence to be granted shall be subject to the following condition.
The Licensing Authority will take into account, in addition to what is required by law, the following. [*]The applicant must be a holder of a Professional Driver's Licence (PPL) in the taxi category. [*]The vehicle to be registered must not be more than seven years old. [*]The Driving Licence to be automatically cancelled after the owner reaches 70 years of age and after he ceases to hold an ELV or at any time when he ceases to hold an ELV and/or upon his death. [*]No right of transfer.
Applications may be submitted to the District Office of the Nicosia Road Transport Department from 6 October to 20 October 2023, both dates inclusive.
