The Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection is organising a painting competition in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, for high school students of public and private secondary general and secondary technical and vocational education and training schools, on the topic "Personal Data Protection in the School Unit".
The selected works may be used as a cover for the Commissioner's Office Annual Report, as well as for awareness-raising and promotional activities of the Commissioner's Office, including activities to celebrate the "European Data Protection Day". A prize will be awarded to three winning projects for each cycle separately (high school and middle school cycle respectively - six (6) projects in total), with a prize of €150 to the first winner, €100 to the second winner and €50 to the third winner per cycle.
The evaluation of the students' works will be carried out by a Jury composed of members of the Commissioner's Office and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
Entries must be submitted through the student's school by 15 December 2023.
Students wishing to participate in the competition can obtain further information, including the terms of the competition, from their school or from website of the Commissioner's Office.
