[PIO] Announcement by the Nicosia Sewerage Board for the extension of the payment of real estate fees

The Nicosia Sewerage Board in the exercise of its powers announces that the payment of the established and imposed fees on the owners or holders of immovable property in the areas of the Municipalities of Nicosia, Ayios Dometios, Strovolos, Aglantzia is extended, Egomi, Lakatameia, Latsia, Latsion, Cherion and Gerion and in the Municipalities of Kato Deuteras, Anageia, Kokkinotrimithia, Paleomethos and Agioi Trimithia for the year 2023, under Regulations 32, 33, 34 and 35 of the Nicosia Drainage Regulations of 1973 to 2017, without charge until 7 December 2023.

Further, on the fees determined and imposed under Article 32 of the Sewerage Systems Laws 1971 to 2020, from 8 December 2023, a surcharge on the unpaid amount equal to 5% in case of payment of the said amount within four months and a surcharge equal to 15% in case of payment after the expiry of four months from the expiry of the prescribed payment period, i.e. after 8 April 2024.

The established and imposed fees can be paid at the offices of the Nicosia Drainage Board (9 Megalou Alexandrou Alexandrou, 1010 Nicosia) and online via Council's website.
