The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that this morning a notice of termination of the concession contract for the integrated development of Larnaca Port and Marina has been delivered to Kition Ocean Holdings Ltd.

In this context, all necessary steps are being taken for the smooth transition and uninterrupted continuation of the operation of the port and marina, through the assumption of management by the Cyprus Ports Authority and the State.

At the same time, the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has invited the representatives of the employees to a meeting for information and coordination on the implementation of labour legislation and the safeguarding of their rights.
