The Ministry of Social Welfare, following the decision of the Council of Ministers, dated. 21/02/2024, announces that today the lump sums for the support of single-parent families and other beneficiaries of the child benefit based on income and property criteria are paid to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
It is recalled that beneficiaries are single-parent families with an annual income of up to EUR 19,500 and a maximum deposit of EUR 10,000. The lump sum amounts to EUR 100 for the first child, increased by EUR 50 for each additional child, up to a maximum of EUR 250. Beyond four dependent children, an additional amount of EUR 100 is granted.
Beneficiaries of the above lump sum are also families receiving a child allowance with an annual income of EUR 25,000 and a maximum deposit of EUR 15,000.
With regard to the allocation of the one-off amount of 100 euros to households receiving Minimum Guaranteed Income that are not included in the above categories, the Ministry of Social Welfare informs the beneficiaries that this will be paid within the current week.
