[PIO] Announcement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance regarding the port and marina of Larnaca: Agreement between the Government and

In the context of ensuring the smooth operation of the critical infrastructure of Larnaca Port and Marina, the following was agreed between the Government and the representatives of the employees:

[*]Ensuring the transitional employment of the staff, for whom employment at the port and marina is terminated, by the Larnaca and Famagusta Development Company. [*]The recording of the work performed by these employees in relation to the work carried out at the port and marina for the assignment of similar tasks. [*]The inclusion in the terms of the new tender for the award of the contract for the management and development of the port and marina of the employment of these personnel by the new contractor.

The processes envisaged in accordance with the above will be initiated and completed immediately.
