[PIO] Announcement by the Ministry of Justice and Public Order

The Ministry of Justice and Public Order announces the termination of the deputy appointment of Mr. Mr. Ioannis Kapnoullas to the post of Director of the Department of Prisons by the Public Service Commission.

Mr. Kapnoullas submitted his resignation in writing to the Minister of Justice and Public Order Mr. Marios Hartsiotis for personal reasons. Mr. Hartsiotis submitted a recommendation to the Public Service Commission to terminate the appointment of Mr. Kapnoullas as Deputy Director of the Prisons Department and thanked him for his services.

Upon the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Public Order, the Public Service Commission has made the substitute appointment of Police Officer A' Mr. Charalambos Filippidis to the post of Director of the Prisons Department with effect from today 9 February 2024 until 2 June 2026.
