The Ministry of Health informs citizens that the schedule of vaccination centres for the vaccination of the public against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza is as follows:

From 9 October 2023, beneficiaries will be able to be served through walk-in vaccination centres.

From Monday, 9 October 2023, no new telephone appointments will be arranged at the following vaccination centres (Latsion Health Centre, Linopetra Health Centre, Kyperounta Vaccination Centre, Larnaca Old Hospital, Paphos General Hospital). It is stressed that citizens who have already made appointments at the above centres will be served normally or can cancel their appointments by phone and come to the free origin vaccination centres.

Telephone appointments can only be made at the Polis Chrysochous vaccination centre (every Tuesday) and the Famagusta Health Centre (every Wednesday and Friday).

Attached table describing the weekly schedule by province.

As a reminder, for the administration of vaccines:

  1. An identification document (ID card, passport, Alien Registration Number) must be presented,
  2. Chronic and immunocompromised patients must present a medical certificate from a Specialist or Personal Physician,
  3. vaccination against COVID-19 will be administered at five months after the last vaccination administered,
  4. a minimum interval of three months for vaccination against COVID-19 after a positive test against COVID-19 disease should be observed.

If a beneficiary wishes to be vaccinated only with the COVID-19 vaccine or on the same day with both vaccines (COVID-19 and seasonal influenza), he/she can be served at the vaccination centres of the Ministry of Health. Vaccination of those who are not beneficiaries of the GHS, but who belong to the high-risk groups, will be provided free of charge at Adult Vaccination Centres of the Ministry of Health.

The vaccination of beneficiaries of the General Health Insurance Scheme with the seasonal influenza vaccine, who belong to the high-risk groups, may be carried out by the Personal Physician, following an appointment.
