The Ministry of Health announces that today, 27 February 2022:

- Related to:
- Male, aged 91 years, who died on 27 February
- Female, aged 74 years, who died on 27 February
- Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 854.
- 148 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in OCHS hospitals
- 36 in serious condition (ICU: 1 off ventilator/13 intubated, NICU: 22)

- Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 61.49%
- 24 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 93,207 diagnostic tests
- A total of 1,387 new cases were identified (total cases 320,160).
- Positivity rate in all tests 1.49%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 8.075 molecular tests
- 165 positive cases
- Positivity rate 2.04%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (RapidTest):
- Performed 85.132 rapid antigen detection tests
- 1,222 positive cases
- Positivity rate 1.44%
Tracing:
- 1.003 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 66 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6.58%)
Private initiative:
- 995 molecular tests were performed, 71 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.14%)
- 35.288 rapid antigen detection tests, 505 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1.43%)
Through the programmes of the Ministry of Health, 49,844 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 717 positive cases were detected.
- Sampling sites: 46.811 rapid detection tests identified 651 positive cases (positivity rate 1.39%)
Other
- Welfare homes: 102 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, no positive cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
- Closed structures: 1
- Closed structures: 1.928 rapid antigen detection tests, no new cases detected (positivity rate 0%).
