The Ministry of Health announces that today, 2 March 2022:

- Female, aged 71 years, who died on 1 March
- Female, aged 85 years, who died on 2 March
- Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 859.
- 145 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in OCYP hospitals
- 28 in serious condition (ICU: 2 off ventilator/11 intubated, NICU: 15)

- Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 59.32%
- 19 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 86,525 diagnostic tests
- A total of 2,109 new cases were identified (total cases 326.611)
- Positivity rate in all tests 2.44%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):[/B]
- 3.369 molecular tests
- 294 positive cases
- Positivity rate 8.73%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (RapidTest):
- Performed 83.156 rapid antigen detection tests
- 1.815 positive cases
- Positivity rate 2.18%
Tracing:
- 352 molecular tests were performed and 36 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 10,23%)
- 709 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 61 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 8.60%)
Private initiative:
- Conducted 1.556 molecular tests, 211 positive cases detected (positivity rate 13.56%)
- 42,746 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 1.147 positive cases (positivity rate 2.68%)
Through the Ministry of Health programmes, 40,410 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 668 positive cases were detected.
- Sampling points: 20,448 rapid detection tests detected 488 positive cases (positivity rate 2,39%)
- Secondary education: 11.692 rapid detection tests detected 66 positive cases (positivity rate 0.56%)
- Test-to-Stay: 4.010 rapid antigen detection tests and 39 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0.97%)
Other
- Welfare homes: 1.235 rapid antigen detection tests, 5 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0.40%)
- Closed facilities: 1,995 rapid antigen detection tests performed; 6 new cases detected (positivity rate 0.30%)
- Closed facilities: 1,995 rapid antigen detection tests performed; 6 new cases detected (positivity rate 0.30%).
- Government services: 103 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0,00%)
- Industrial sites: 218 218 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 3 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1,38%)
