The Ministry of Health announces that today, 12 March 2022:
- 4 deaths
- Related to:
- Female, aged 98 years, who died on 11 March
- Male, aged 59 years, who died on 12 March
- Female, aged 84 years, who died on 12 March
- Male, aged 81 years, who died on 12 March
- Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 899.
- 110 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in OCHS hospitals
- 17 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/5 intubated, NICU: 12)

- Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 53.64%
- 22 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 78,517 diagnostic tests
- A total of 2,812 new cases were identified (total cases 350.688)
- Positivity rate in all tests 3.58%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):[/B]
- 3.324 molecular tests
- 272 positive cases
- Positivity rate 8.18%
- Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (RapidTest):
- 75.193 rapid antigen detection tests
- 2.540 positive cases
- Positivity rate 3.38%
Tracing:
- 102 molecular tests were performed and 7 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6,86%)
- 916 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 93 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 10.15%)
Private initiative:
- Conducted 1.406 molecular tests, 229 positive cases detected (positivity rate 16.29%)
- 42,302 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 1.476 positive cases (positivity rate 3.49%)
Through the Ministry of Health programmes, 32,891 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 1,064 1,064 positive cases were detected.
- Sampling sites: 31.378 rapid detection tests identified 952 positive cases (positivity rate 3,03%)
Other
- Welfare homes: 597 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 19 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 3.18%)
