Given the deteriorating situation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to suspend the operation of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev.

It calls on Cypriot citizens who are still in the country to remain in their homes, or in safe shelters and/or other safe places, until the situation is reassessed to enable their safe movement.

Cypriot citizens who are still in Ukraine are advised to contact the Crisis Management Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if they have not already done so, in order to make their presence in the country and their intentions known. They are also invited to declare their details by registering on the online platform www.connect2cy.gov.cy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is contacting Cypriot citizens who are in Ukraine and have registered on the connect2cy platform and/or the lists of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev, in order to confirm their personal safety and provide them with guidance.
