The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, in cooperation with the Vienna Trade Centre, participated with an information stand of 18 square metres at the International Food, Beverage, Hotel Equipment and Gastronomy Fair "Alles Für Den Gast", which took place in Salzburg, Austria, on 11-15 November 2023.
The Cypriot pavilion hosted products from 18 Cypriot companies such as halloumi, organic carob and pomegranate products, organic olive oil, olives, conventional and organic nuts, dried fruits, popcorn with different flavours, pasta, quail eggs, salt flakes and wines. During the exhibition, tastings of Cypriot products were held and samples and information material with the details of companies from Cyprus were provided for future collaborations. A number of Cypriot companies that participated are already in contact with importers abroad in order to place their products on foreign markets.
The "Alles Für Den Gast" exhibition, which has been held annually since 1970, this year attracted 680 exhibitors from 42 countries and attracted 35.It is Austria's most important trade fair for food, beverages, hotel equipment and gastronomy and the largest fair of the countries in the Alpine-Adriatic-Danube region, as well as one of the most important in Europe.
