[PIO] Announcement by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry on the Aphrodite gas field

The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry informs that Chevron, the operator of the Aphrodite gas field, submitted on 29.3.2024, a proposal/recommendation for the optimization of the approved Development and Production Plan of the field, which, after careful evaluation in cooperation with the consultants of the Republic of Cyprus, is considered to require improvements.

Therefore, the Minister of Energy proposes in a letter to Chevron, dated 30.4.2024, to take specific targeted actions within the next 6 months.
