From the very first moment, the Ministry has been in constant communication with the Cyprus Police, in order to manage the issue as efficiently and quickly as possible, with primary concern for the safety of students, teachers and other school staff. To this end, relevant instructions were given to the school directorates, while a meeting was convened, which was attended by the Chief of Police, the Director General (DG) of the Ministry of Public Security and relevant officials. At the end of the meeting, the Cyprus Police issued a relevant statement, which is attached.
