[PIO] Announcement by the Ministry of Education on the adoption by the Greek Parliament of the Agreement between Greece and Cyprus on mutual academic

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MESN) welcomes the adoption by the Greek Parliament last Friday of the Agreement between Greece and Cyprus, which provides for the mutual academic recognition of university degrees between higher and higher educational institutions and other accredited institutions of the two countries.

Special thanks are expressed to the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, for the excellent cooperation. Mr. Pierrakakis arrives in Cyprus tomorrow, as part of an official visit, following an invitation by the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Mrs. Athina Michailidou, with whom they will co-sign the Cooperation Programme in the field of Education for the years 2023-2027.
