The Larnaca Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (LRCRC) announces that today, 16 April 2024 at 16:15, the LRC received information about a small boat with two passengers, which was sinking in the sea area of Limassol Bay, near the fish farms.
The KSEED proceeded to implement the National Plan "NEARCHOS" by mobilizing the speedboat "MORFOU" of the Port and Maritime Police, which, after rescuing the two persons in distress, transported them to the Limassol port and delivered them to an ambulance of the Ambulance Service of the State Health Services Organisation.
