1. The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Monday 26/2/2024 until Thursday 29/2/2024, between the hours of 20:00 in the evening and 05:30 in the morning of the following day, asphalt maintenance works will be carried out on the following roads in the Nicosia District:
[*]Kalamon Air Bridge in Strovolos (on the A1 motorway, Nicosia - Limassol, [*]GSP - on the A1 motorway from the GSP roundabout to Nicosia [*]Strovolos - between Alexandroupolis - Pythonos - Kantara [*]Presidential Palace from the Presidential Palace roundabout to the traffic lights of the Holy Confessors (Corner)
2. Replacement works of overhead information signs on the Limassol Bypass Road in the section between the Linopetra roundabout and the Yermasogeia roundabout
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Tuesday 27/2/2024, from 22:00 in the evening until 05:00 in the morning of the next day, on the Limassol Bypass Road, in the section between the Linopetra roundabout and the Yermasogeia roundabout, work will be carried out to replace overhead information signs.
During the works, the section of the bypass road between the Linopetra roundabout and the Yermasogeia roundabout in the direction of Nicosia will be closed and traffic will pass through the Linopetra roundabout, Agios Athanasios and Spyros Kyprianou (Kolonaki) avenues and the Yermasogeia roundabout.
3. Replacement works of information signs on the Limassol Bypass Road, in the section between the Agia Fyla roundabout and the Mesa Geytonia roundabout
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Monday 26/2/2024, from 22:00 in the evening until 05:00 in the morning of the following day, on the Limassol Bypass Road, in the section between the Agia Fyla roundabout and the Mesa Gitonia roundabout, replacement works will be carried out for the replacement of overhead information signs.
During the works, the section of the bypass road between the Agia Fila roundabout and the Mesa Gitonia roundabout in the direction of Nicosia, will be closed and traffic will be diverted via the Ayia Fyla roundabout, Ayia Fylaxis, Spyros Kyprianou and Archbishop Makarios Avenue and the Mesa Gitonia roundabout.
4. Grass cutting and cleaning works along the entire length of Hellas Avenue in Aradippou
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Tuesday 27/2/2024 and Wednesday 28/2/2024, between 08:30 - 14:00, grass cutting and cleaning works will be carried out along the entire length of Hellas Avenue in Aradippou (E323).
During the execution of the works, the express lane of the motorway will be partially closed for a distance of approximately 1500m, and traffic will be diverted to the slow lane.
5. The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Friday 23/2/2024, between 08:30 - 13:00, on the Larnaca - Agia Napa motorway, well maintenance works on the foundation will be carried out by a private telecommunications company.
During the works, a 100m long section of the motorway embankment will be closed. (a) at the entrance of the motorway coming from Livadia and (b) at the entrance of the motorway coming from Aradippou, in the direction of Ayia Napa.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
