The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from 17/01/2024 until 06/02/2024, except Sundays and public holidays, between 08:00 - 15:00, work will be carried out to cut/trim and remove acacia and other trees from the embankments and slopes along the entire length of the Larnaca - Nicosia motorway in both directions, including junctions.
During the execution of the works, the motorway embankment will be partially closed and traffic will remain on the lanes as normal without the embankment.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road markings and police instructions.
