[PIO] Announcement by the Department of Postal Services regarding mobile phone messaging fraud

The Department of Postal Services informs the public that a new attempt to defraud the public by sending messages to mobile phones using the name of Cyprus Post, as shown in the photo below.

The public should pay attention to the following points to verify that the communication is not from Cyprus Post:

[*]The mobile messages do not refer to the official website of the Department www.cypruspost.post. [*]Cyprus Post will not return an item or deliver an item because duties/taxes have not been paid. [*]Payments are not downloaded to the JCCSmart online payment platform, but to another email address.
