It is with great pleasure that I accepted the invitation to welcome the graduation ceremony of students of the University of Cyprus who successfully completed their postgraduate studies.

Tonight's ceremony is the culmination of a demanding effort that precedes the acquisition of a postgraduate degree from the MBA programme, and is for all graduates a moment of special significance, a moment of joy and pride. I congratulate you for your hard work and dedication to this academic path.

As a graduate and personally of the University of Cyprus MBA program, I can say with confidence that this program has prepared you for the challenges of today's business community and has equipped you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in your professional life. This achievement is the result of your dedication, your vision and the power of knowledge.

As you move into the future, remember that education is a never-ending road and knowledge is the greatest power you can possess. Continue to evolve, seek the truth and continue to influence the world around you with the wisdom you have gained.

In this context, taking into account the dynamic development of the University of Cyprus, as well as the many distinctions and successes achieved by its students, your Master's degree is an important advantage for you.

Since its foundation, the University of Cyprus has been committed to the production and transmission of scientific knowledge, as well as to the formation of young, competent scientists.

Remaining steadily oriented towards the fulfilment of these high goals, it adopts the best international practices and extroverted operation, while at the same time pursuing excellence in research and its interconnection with education and the labour market.

In conclusion, I would like to warmly congratulate the Council and the Rectorial Authorities, as well as the academic staff of the University of Cyprus, who, by fully responding to the expectations of the State, focus as their life's work on the production and transmission of scientific knowledge and the subsequent formation of young scientists.

Congratulations to all graduates follow your dreams and goals!

I wish you all the best for the future!
