[PIO] A team from Shriners Pediatric Hospitals is in Cyprus to perform surgical procedures on children with orthopedic diseases

A team from Shriners Children's Hospitals is in Cyprus to perform surgeries and examinations on children with orthopaedic conditions.

The doctors of Shriners Hospitals will perform a total of seven (7) surgical procedures from today until Thursday. The surgeries will be performed at the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital and the Apollonios Hospital.

Alongside the surgeries, the Shriners Hospitals team will provide their expertise to both children from Cyprus and children from neighbouring countries, through examinations conducted at the George and Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation.

Health Minister Michael Damianos had a meeting today with Shriners executives in the presence of the Executive Director of the George and Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation, Mr. Kostas Paraskevaides.
