[PIO] A Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technology was signed today between the Cypriot

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Cyprus and Qatar for cooperation in the field of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technology took place today in Doha.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed during the official visit of the President of the Republic Mr. It provides, among other things, for the exchange of information on academic curricula, the establishment of regulations for the mutual recognition of degrees and academic certificates by the countries' higher and higher education institutions, as well as the protection of intellectual rights.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed this morning, at the Qatari Ministry of Education, by the Deputy Minister to the President Mrs. Irene Piki on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus and on the Qatari side it was signed by the Minister of Education and Higher Education Mrs. Buthaina Bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi.

The signing of the Memorandum creates better conditions for cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the objective of internationalizing higher education in our country and upgrading the synergies in this field.
