A delegation of the Parliamentary Committee on Refugees - Internally Displaced Persons - Litigants, consisting of the Chairman of the Committee Mr. Nikos Georgiou, Christos Seneki, Sotiris Ioannou, Michalis Yakoomi and Kostis Efstathiou, will travel to Brussels on Monday 27 November 2023 for a visit to the European Parliament (EP).
The delegation will participate in a meeting of the EP Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, where the EP's Permanent Rapporteur on the missing persons of Cyprus, Ms. Isabel Santos, will present her work and activities on the issue. The President of the Committee on Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons and Missing Persons, Mr Kettiros, will also present the state of play on the issue of missing persons in Cyprus, followed by an exchange of views.
In the framework of its visit, the Parliament delegation will also hold bilateral meetings with representatives of the EP Political Groups.
